Who we are
SwiftSend.World ("SwiftSend", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. We are an independent payments broker — see our Brokerage Disclosure for our regulatory status.
You can contact our data protection point of contact at hello@swiftsend.world.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, source quotes from our supplier partners on your behalf, and introduce you appropriately. Specifically:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number (if provided), country of residence.
- Business details (if applicable): business name, sector.
- Quote brief: currencies, amount, purpose, timing, free-text notes you provide.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (used for site analytics and abuse prevention only — see Cookies below).
Why we collect it (lawful bases)
- To respond to your enquiry or quote brief — lawful basis: steps prior to entering a contract at your request, and legitimate interests in running our brokerage business.
- To introduce you to a supplier — lawful basis: your consent when you submit a quote request, and contract performance of the brokerage service.
- To send service communications (quote follow-ups, document requests) — lawful basis: contract performance.
- To meet legal obligations (record-keeping where applicable) — lawful basis: legal obligation.
Who we share data with
We share your data only with:
- Supplier partners you have agreed for us to introduce you to. The supplier becomes a separate data controller and its own privacy policy applies once you onboard.
- Service providers we use to operate the website (email delivery, hosting, analytics). Each is bound by contract to handle data on our instructions only.
- Legal authorities if required by law.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing partners without your specific consent.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries and contact messages: up to 5 years from the date of last interaction, in line with UK financial record-keeping conventions for introducer businesses.
- Web analytics: aggregated and not personally identifiable beyond 14 months.
Where we no longer need your data, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (subject access request).
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need (the "right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@swiftsend.world.
Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on stored data, and minimum-necessary collection.
International transfers
Where our supplier partners or service providers are based outside the UK, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards (UK adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent mechanisms).
