What SwiftSend is
SwiftSend.World ("SwiftSend") is an independent broker for cross-border payments, FX, and digital liquidity introductions. We act as an intermediary between clients and a network of regulated supplier partners.
Our role
- We receive a payment or FX brief from a client.
- We source quotes from our network of regulated supplier partners.
- We present the strongest options to the client.
- We introduce the client to the supplier they choose.
- We support the client through onboarding and the ongoing relationship with that supplier.
Our role is the brokerage layer — the introduction, comparison, and ongoing relationship management. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide regulated payment services in our own name.
The supplier's role
The supplier the client chooses is the firm legally responsible for the execution of the payment or FX transaction. The supplier is regulated in its own jurisdiction — typically by the UK Financial Conduct Authority for UK-based suppliers, or by the equivalent authority in the relevant country. The supplier carries out client due diligence (KYC), anti-money-laundering checks, sanctions screening, and execution of the transaction under its own permissions.
This is the architecture of a brokerage model: SwiftSend at the introduction layer, the supplier at the regulated execution layer.
How we are paid
SwiftSend earns a fee from the supplier when a client we introduce transacts with that supplier. We do not charge the client a separate fee for our brokerage service. Our fee does not affect the rate the client receives — the rate is set by the supplier independent of our introduction.
We disclose the supplier paying us where it is relevant to the client's understanding of the introduction.
Why this disclosure exists
Brokerage businesses sit alongside regulated firms in financial services. We believe clients are best served when the boundary is clearly stated. This disclosure exists to make sure every client understands SwiftSend's role and the role of the supplier executing their transaction.
